Poemotion by Takahiro Kurashima

Poemotion is an interactive book-object created by Takahiro Kurashima as an exploration of motion in printed form. With this book, the viewer can observe how figures and forms are created out of optical overlays, set in motion and then disappear again. The abstract graphic patterns start to move as soon as the reader overlays them with the special film enclosed: moire effects create complex shapes, make circles start to spin, and set graphic patterns vibrating.

This three-book series includes the high-quality hardcover edition of the original bestselller Poemotion, along with two sequels Poemotion 2 and Poemotion 3. Each book contains 64 pages with 30 illustrations with inspiring names.
