Shipping & Returns
US Orders: We offer Priority* (3-5 business days), Expedited** (1-2 business days) shipping options during checkout. We use the following services depending on distance and weight: USPS, FedEx, UPS. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or other remote locations might take longer.
International Orders: USPS Priority Mail International*** and Priority Mail Express International** to Canada, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore.
Note that Ode to Things is not responsible for lost packages and other shipping issues outside the U.S. postal boundaries. Any duties and taxes charged by customs of the destination country are the sole responsibility of the buyer, and will not be refunded or reimbursed by Ode to Things.
Shipping price for your order will be displayed during the checkout process, before you confirm payment. You will receive an email with delivery information and a tracking number as soon as your order is fulfilled.
*US Priority (3-5 business days) shipments are fulfilled within 2-3 business days.
**US Expedited and Priority Mail Express International shipments are fulfilled same or next business day.
***Priority Mail International shipments are fulfilled within 3-4 business days.
Returns and exchanges
We want you to be completely happy with every Ode to Things purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact us within 7 days after your receive your order. If more than 7 days have gone by, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in unused condition, in their original product packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Ode to Things reserves the right to deny refunds, or charge a restocking fee if the merchandise returned does not meet the requirements above.
Note that magazines, gift cards, health and personal care items are exempt from being returned.
The cost of shipping an item back to Ode to Things is always the responsibility of the customer. The original shipping and handling costs are not refundable. However, if you are exchanging an item, we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement (US orders only). Ode to Things is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments so we recommend you insure your return.
All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are shipped to customers. We encourage you to do the same when you receive your order. If you think an item is damaged, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery. Claims for damaged items will not be accepted after 48 hours.
