“Sasara” is a type of Japanese brush made of firm strands of Windmill palm fiber, wound together tightly with a single metal wire. It is a versatile tool that can be used for cleaning pots, pans, kitchen surfaces, and other tools. Since the sasara’s fibers are oriented in the same direction, it is suitable for scrubbing delicate surfaces, including pans with non-stick coating. Particularly effective on areas with tiny indents or grooves.
